A few weeks ago Shane and I flew to Texas to visit my family, and await the arrival of baby Cate (our newest neice!). Although Shane was only able to stay for an extended weekend, I stayed with my family for two weeks. We joke that Cate was just waiting on Shane to get there to make her big debut because she decided it was time about an hour after he got into town. That way she had the entire family there to meet her! Our time in Texas was wonderful, we ate a lot of Mexican food, saw several good friends, had fun on the farm, and even started to get used to the heat again. Not to mention a lot of Aunt/Neice bonding time with my favorite two year old, Emma.

Baby Cate is here! She is perfect, adorable, sweet, and already loves her Aunt Whitney and Uncle Big! Born on October 7, 2011.
