Shane flew to Texas for a very quick Easter weekend. Although we barely had any time actually on Easter, we crammed a lot into his quick trip. He flew into Austin on Friday night and then we headed to have some fun in Austin. It turned out to be a really pretty night, and we had fun walking around some. After a trip to hey cupcake, which was delicious, we headed north of Austin to The Salt Lick for dinner. All of which were amazing eateries, that I would highly recommend. Saturday we went to a wine tasting at Messina Hof with my parents, which was fun. It was another gorgeous day outside, and we got to try some new wines. The rest of our time was spent sitting at my kitchen table working on wedding plans. Though we got a lot accomplished, there are no noteworthy details to bore you with. We hope you all had a great Easter!

Bridal Shower
Last Saturday I had my bridal shower in Sugar Land. It was so much fun, and so many close friends and family showed up, which was truly a blessing. I loved catching up with everyone. The hostess also did an amazing job of keeping it simple, but cute and elegant! We were given so many neat gifts to start off our marriage, I couldn't believe it. Here are some pictures from the big event.
My sister, mom and I
Mrs. Porter and I-long time neighbors
Caroline, Katie, & Hannah - Friends from Sugar Land and homeschooling
My Grandma & I
My sister, and cousin, Michelle
Myself with the wonderful hostesses
The aftermath at home.
Mrs. Lisa and Mom - Best friends for a long time, looking as good as ever!

Spring is here!
So much has been going on lately, that I thought we needed a post that covered several different things. This past weekend was full for both of us. As Shane participated in his mini baja competition in Alabama, I had my bridal shower, and Shane's mom, Bonnie came down for some wedding planning. Shane had a great time in Alabama, though I don't have any pictures of the actual competition, here are a few he text me of him working on baja the past few weeks. Their team put a ton of work into it, and did really well at the competition. Hopefully, I can find some pictures of that soon!
Spring break Shane and I planted some flowers for my balcony, and I am surprised at many blooms I've had!
In other news, Aggie baseball is in full swing and we have enjoyed a LOT of that lately. It is a great family outing, and we have also had some beautiful weather for it.
We took Bonnie to her first Aggie baseball game on her birthday last weekend, and had so much fun.
Emma also loves Aggie baseball. She is always watching the players, clapping, yelling, and quite the comic relief in our section.
Sunday was Bonnie's birthday and my family enjoyed having her stay with us for the weekend. She and my mom ended the birthday weekend with a ride on my brother's motorcycle. Don't we have the most amazing, versatile mom's in the world?
Earlier last week my mom, sister, niece, and dad all went to Dallas/Ft. Worth for a mini vacation. My dad had to work, but the girls enjoyed staying at a fun hotel, shopping, swimming and eating a lot! Emma was the highlight of the trip, and love just about every minute of it. Here are a few pictures.
Did I mention this precious girl started saying my name this week? She likes to call everyone mama, and I told her that wasn't my name, and then she blurted out whitwee, like she knew it all along! It almost brought me to tears, I was so excited. I guess we will work on the aunt part later, but for now I'll be whitwee!
