While Shane was at Gunnery and some other training for 2 1/2 weeks in July I was able to visit my family in Texas. One last time without a little one! We did a lot while I was there including my Texas baby shower, a trip to the beach, shopping, family time, and some time spent at the farm. It was so fun being around my siblings, parents and nieces again, although we definitely all missed Shane too.
One of the first day's I was in Texas was Chick-fil-a dress like a cow day. So of course we looked like the biggest (probably craziest) herd of cows getting our free food together!

Emma enjoyed lots of reading time with Aunt Whitney. Occasionally she let Cate in on the fun too.
They are making a lot of progress on my parents new house. We are excited that next time we are in Texas they will be moved into their new, beautiful home! Looking great!
