Texas our Texas!

We had planned on a trip to Texas sometime [later] this summer to see family and well lets face it...eat Mexican food.  However, it all happened a lot faster than we anticipated when Shane got his 10 days TDY.  We had already been in Kansas for almost three weeks, found a house, unpacked (okay mostly...), and explored the nearby towns (which is basically what the Army gives the 10 days for).  So it only made sense to jet off to Texas, our home sweet home!  Though it was a little last minute, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing family and just relaxing enjoying the good life in Texas.

Apparently there was a tied [brotherly love] arm wrestle Thanksgiving of 2007, that was never settled.  The re-do 4+ years later, ended in a tie as well.  I am going to start Shane on a training schedule to win next time!
